First hour: first impressions / connecting with people in person (including forms of address, authentic connection, speaking well of others, meeting protocol, workplace civility, and challenging personalities)
Second hour: professionalism on paper and online (including email etiquette, phone etiquette, social media images, invitations and R.S.V.P.s, and thank you notes)
All are welcome – no admittance at the door without prior sign up. Come in to career services if you need any help signing up.
ND (Nine Dragons) Paper will be here on campus for a presentation. The Rumford mill has recently changed owners and restructured. They want introduce themselves and connect with students and faculty. All are welcome to attend. The new CEO will be coming along with the mill manager and others – Please stop by the Alumni Lecture Hall to learn more about ND Paper at 4:00 PM on 9/26.
Career Services is hosting guest speaker, Michael Ross, who will discuss the hiring process from the human resources perspective. This event is open to all. Sign up on the career center as seating is limited. Seniors especially should take advantage of his expertise. All are welcome. He will do some mock interviews on Friday by appointment.
